1. the ricky gervais/stephen merchant podcast might just be the best thing ever. it's hilarious. and ricky gervais laughs the entire time, and he's got that awesome laugh, and it makes you laugh just hearing him laugh...awesome. i've been listening to it all morning and i'm still in a good mood, even after doing bullshit work for 3 hours. sweet.
2. lost was awesome last night. if anyone wants to discuss, let me know.
3. i now understand all anime. this is the japanese flying squirrel. it is so cute it hurts.

4. i'm halfway through chamber of secrets and it's way better than i remember. although i must admit i can't wait to just get through it and start on prizoner of azkaban. it was my favorite out of the first 3, and i've seen the movie so many times i can't remember what actually happens in the book and what doesn't. except for those shrunken heads. they're not in the book.
5. i'm really excited about going yarn shopping on saturday morning. i think i'm going to try woolbearers in mount holly (even if their website is a fuschia, comic sans nightmare). they look like they have a good selection. as long as i can find what i'm looking for, project weasley sweater will commence this weekend. even though i'm not officially part of the knitting olympics, perhaps i'll knit along. i like having goals. although starting and finishing a sweater in 2 weeks is a bit ridiculous...on the other hand, i'm planning on using bulky yarn and size 13 needles, so hey! you never know.
