OH MY GOD. So the Sideways World was Purgatory/Limbo/What have you? And they all found each other so they could get to heaven? So we don't know what happened to everyone else on the island after? I think I like it...so Hurley took over, Ben was his #2, they helped Desmond get home since Hurley was a much nicer guys than Jacob...everyone else went home and lived happily ever after, eventually died, and then they all met up and "moved on" together? I like it!
It's like if when you died you went to hang out somewhere (where time doesn't really exist) and you wait around for all your BFFs and whatnot to show up, and then you all move on together. I like it. It's surprisingly a simple end to the most complicated show of all time.

ETA 2: I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING. HOW THE HELL DID DESMOND GO BETWEEN WORLDS????????? I mean okay that was Limbo or whatever, but how did he do that? Was he like...a deity or something? And what did Eloise know about it? Did she stay there in limbo waiting for Daniel to move on with her, and that's why she tried to stop Des? Methinks yes. But how Desmond could swing between worlds is beyond me.
ETA 3: On Jimmy Kimmel they just showed the first episode when they first showed the plane in the Sideways World and there is the turbulence and Rose goes, "It's okay, you can let go" so it's like that was the moment Jack died on the island and the limbo world began! WHOA! Maybe Rose had already been enlightened?
