30 Days of Me: Favorite TV Show, Book, and Quote
Day 03 → Your favorite television program: LOST!!!
Anyone who has known me for 5 minutes knows my favorite show of all time is LOST.
Reasons why Lost is the Best Show Ever:
1. It makes you think. Lost is like a giant puzzle, and that's mainly why I love it so much.
2. It makes you laugh/cry/etc. It's serious, but it has a sense of humor about itself. It's scary, but can be lighthearted too.
3. The cast is awesome. Both in character and out of character.
4. The producers appreciate the fans. This show has such a huge fanbase because Darlton & Co. love us as much as we love them.
5. It's consistently good. In the 5 years Lost has been on TV, I can still count the so-so episodes on one hand. That's so SO rare!
6. Lost has become part of my personality. I spend half the year talking and writing about it and I'm still not sick of it.
I have no idea what I'll do when it's all over this year. Probably cry for a week. ;_;
Favorite TV Show runner up: Battlestar Frakkin' Galactica. And Arrested Development.
Day 04 → Your favorite book: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
This is hard because I love books and I'm constantly reading, so I'm being lazy and choosing the book I've read the most times. I've read GoF 21 times. It's crazy, I know. but I love it. It's got nonstop action, a ton of new characters, an awesome mystery, the Yule Ball and all its adorable angsty issues it creates, and the end is freaking amazing. Harry fighting Voldemort in the cemetery is my favorite chapter, it's perfection. I'm sure I'll end up reading it 21 more times throughout my life.
Favorite Book runners up: Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole, Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris, 9 million others that I won't begin to list.
Day 05 → Your favorite quote
I'm all about quotes, I stick them everywhere - on greeting cards, on the front and back covers of all my journals and notebooks, on bulletin boards. Anywhere I can stick one, really. So it's hard to pick just one, but this has been one of my favorite quotes for a very long time.
