Rocking my sock. Just one.

I made another sock. This time the Williams Street Sock (free pattern here, last one on the page).

These were made using Knitpicks Essential in Navy on size 3 dpns. I think I would have actually made them on smaller needles now that one is finished, it's a little loose for my liking, but it's still comfy.

ETA: By the way, I don't know if any of you guys have trouble starting toe-up socks, but it can be a real pain in the ass. For this sock, I used the Easy Toe cast on (last one on the page) and it really was more simple than the crazy Figure 8 thing I've done in the past. So try it out if you ever get frustrated with your socks :D

See how big the holes are? I'd say use a thicker yarn than Essential or use smaller dpns.

The details on the cable part:

I cannot stop making stuff. I'm SO BORED. I have 4 days until I start working, I have no money, the weather sucks, and I'm home alone 90% of the time. So I've been churning out socks and icons like it's going out of style. I think maybe today as a project I'll break out my sewing machine and make myself one of those knitting needle holders that rolls up. I really need something to do. I'm ready to pull my hair out.
