so monday i went to my grandfather's funeral. it was...well, it was a funeral. i think the worst part of the whole thing was having to sit through church. i mean, i was raised jewish so i don't understand what the hell is going on. add this to the fact that i am a staunch atheist, and you can see why i had such a great time. all i could think the entire time was "this is the biggest crock of shit i have ever heard." why do they make everyone shake hands? why is there some creepy woman singing crappy songs and playing an organ every 3 minutes? i just don't get it.
and then of course, we (as in, the normal half of my family) had to deal with them (as in, the completely dysfunctional/creepy/white-trashy/rude/ugly half of my family). now that was an interesting experience. i have an uncle who only talks through his nose. he is married to a woman that looks like an *ugly* version of mimi from the drew carey show. you read that right. then there is my grandmother's evil sister, who suffers from female pattern baldness and is thew proud owner of what looks like 4 asses. one of the guys in her posse had one of those long ponytails that is sectioned into 3 parts. they were a frightening bunch. we stayed at least 20 feet away from them the entire time. good times.
so anyway. today is 420. potheads of the world, rejoice. it's also the columbine anniversary. and happy birthday to hitler, joey lawrence, and my sister! yes, little jodi is 22 today. the day she was born there was this huge freak blizzard. 3 feet of snow or something like that. and today it's fucking 90 degrees. 420: a day to be reckoned with.
now go smoke a bowl
