Someone like YOUUUUUU

Random thoughts on Lost. I've been rewatching some of my favorite S2 episodes in anticipation for Wednesday :D

I just finished watching "One of Them."

My name is Sayid Jarrah. And I am a torchurra.

Sayid going nuts on Benry at the end and saying, "It was an accident. IT WAS AN ACCIDENT The woman responsible thought she was someone else; SOMEONE COMING TO HURT HER...SOMEONE LIKE YOUUUUU!!!" >>>>>>>> Half of Season 2.

Ahem. Moving on.

I can't believe I had forgotten about this until now, but what do you guys think about Ben's capture by Danielle? Do you think he meant to get captured? And if so, why? Now that we know he has this connection to Alex, why would he be sniffing around Danielle's part of the jungle? I mean, I don't think anything happens to him accidentally. He knew what he was doing. He didn't just happen to get captured in a full khaki expedition ensemble. Those aren't his regular clothes.

And...forEVER now I have been saying there was a reason the Others let Danielle run around the jungle by herself all these years. Whatever the connection between Alex and Ben, it has to explain why they wouldn't just either kill or capture Danielle...right? Anyway...

And what was with his story? He obviously had it all ready to go, if he was able to remember all these tiny details while he was in horrible pain AND being tortured. Was he there for Locke? Was he there for Jack? WHY WAS HE THERE??

And another thing - in "Lockdown" when John is stuck under the wall and Ben had to climb through the ceilings to push the button...remember how he knocked himself out for a second? And he was like REALLY scared? Do you think he KNEW what was happening??? ;lskdfj';sdf; I DON'T KNOW.

It's one of two things:
1. He knew that not pushing the button would cause a giant explosion thingy and so he was using his fear of that happening to pretend he was just afraid of the lights going out and the alarm going off. And then later when he told Locke that he didn't push the button, that was to mess with his mind.
2. He for whatever reason didn't have knowledge of what went on in that hatch (Don't forget that while that other hatch was meant to be watching the main hatch, those journals never went anywhere except a pile in a field, and that hatch looked relatively abandoned. Maybe it was actually forgotten? But then who is dropping the food omg BRAIN EXPLODE), and actually WAS scared, and told John he didn't push the button because he wanted to find out more about it first.

Benry Gale is such a freaking awesome character. I love it. That creepy ass look he gives Sayid at the end of the episode is just MADE OF AWESOME.

And rewatching that episode knowing that eventually Clancy Brown ends up stuck in the hatch with Desmond for 2 years? Win. I can't wait until we find out how that happened too.

And also: I am SO GLAD Ana-Lucia is gone. Seriously. I also watched "The Long Con," and oh my GOD I wanted to smack that look off her face the entire time. Hate her. And apparently the photographers at Harper's Bizarre hate her too. LOL yes.

lost, benry gale
