KNITTING IS RELAXING
I just spent 3 HOURS trying to start a Brioche hat from Weekend Knitting and OH MY GOD. Worst pattern EVER. It doesn't make any sense, it uses ridiculous terms that I've never seen, it's overly wordy, and IT DOESN'T WORK.
Feeling like a complete idiot, I googled the name of the pattern, and found that bloggers everywhere have apparently labeled it "The Hat from Hell." GAH. I CAST ON 8 times, and then I finally thought I was actually doing it correctly for the first time, and then I noticed that one of the colors was basically inside out. WORST PATTERN EVER.
Fuck this pattern. I quit. I think today is finally when I teach myself cables and make a hat I've had the pattern for since last winter.
