I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! Thank you for reminding me how much I really do love Peter/Elle. Your characterizations and the way they connect to one another and everything about this is just so, so wonderful. You have no idea how much I wish that this was canon--I'd love to see Peter go through changes and grow like this, and the only way I can see it happening is with a character like Elle.

"I've kissed Peter Petrelli before," she recalled playfully as they settled back onto the bed. "I don't remember it being quite this interesting."
"Well, I have double the memories that I did then," he reminded her as the last of their clothes hit the floor. "Kind of the opposite of amnesia."

Everything about this is so awesome. You really captured the way these two talk to one another, and how she has the ability to make him be more playful ... LOVE IT. I mean, the shape-shifting and angst is all AWESOME, too ... but I'm so taken by how much you made this pairing work in a healthy way as well.

I hope you feel proud of yourself. I never once felt like this was too long, the structure and pacing and story content was just plain perfect for an epic--I wanted to just live in it and have it keep going. Fucking great job, Sabrina.

i am so glad you liked it so much - i really am proud :) so it means a lot to get comments like this, especially from you, who wrote a fave peter/elle fic of mine!

peter totes needs to grow and change. i think that's one of the things that irks me so much about the show sometimes, the way they put their characters through the same cycles and then they react the same ways and it's like nothing gets learned. so i guess my desire to fix peter came out in the fic :) and i only had one very tiny short dream in there :)
