thanks to amber's example and because i've been a negative nancy lately, i decided it's time to make my "things i love" post. gather 'round, homies.
1. neti pot:
obviously, my sinuses hate me SO much. i basically have a permanent sinus infection, and although sometimes antibiotics can make it disappear briefly, it always comes back. THIS mofo, which i bought last night, makes my nasal cavity screech in delight. I CAN ACTUALLY BREATHE. oh, and seeing huge gobs of mucus fly out your nose is pretty sweet. at least to me. because i'm weird.
2. stunna shades:
these are the sunglasses i recently bought from urban outfitters and debuted at the one, the only, the picklefest last weekend. because i was in and out about eleven different times during those 13 hours, the bouncer got to know me. at one point, after it was dark, i walk in and he stops me and asks, "where's the stunna shades?" i also got called kanye all night. awesome.
3. "paper planes" by m.i.a.:
love love love this song. so much. although i'm not huge on her other stuff, i found myself listening to it on repeat and realizing how much i liked it.
4. "
married to the sea:"
i've literally just lost it and laughed for five minutes straight reading these. maybe it's the weird graphics or the occasional references to wu-tang clan, but i think this is genius and ALWAYS good for a laugh.
5. stella artois:
yum. i was introduced to it over winter break; we've had quite the tumultuous yet satisfying relationship since. plus, brother's bar here in EC just got it on tap. amber tells me it's the budweiser of europe, but that will not change my love for this beverage. and see that wonderful chalice next to the bottle? no big deal, i have one.
6. LOLanything:
don't care what anyone says about LOLcats, or to a lesser extent: LOLhan, LOLpresident, etc. still funny. so funny.
7. spring break '08:
11 days: south padre island, texas via roadtrip. tanning, boozing, and surfing with 5 of my best friends? um, okay, if i must ...
8. and this blog:
rottin' in denmark. it's by an american spending the past few years in denmark. cultural differences lead to hilarity? you know it.
