Finally recuperated enough to write. Anime North was really, really tiring. I'm never sewing gloves the night before the con. It resulted with me getting 4 hours of sleep before boarding the bus. Lining-up to get pre-reg tickets at 10am in the morning was also a mistake. Doors don't open until 1pm, and afterwards, you melt in the sun until 5 when the con officially starts. Yes, i did get sunburned. So the lesson is to actually arrive at the con at 5pm friday to pick-up tickets.

Aside from a slight case of agoraphobia (holy shite there was thousands on people on the lawn in front of the Toronto Congress Center), narutards, yaoi fangirls, the con was very enjoyable. The panels are very good, especially the crafting tutorial ones (too bad we missed most of the ones on saturday morning due to weapons' check). The life in Japan panel gave a lot of information, but its scary how much advice we need before going to live in Japan.

We tried to sign David up for the Super Smash Brawl tournament, but it was closed. He held up quite well during free-play against other gamers. He won the round with pikachu. Chang and I had no idea what was going on since everyone was hitting/dogging/jumping all at once with light weight/fast characters. I wish we could have signed both of them up for the tournament. I'm betting chang will spam volcanic eruption with Ike. I hate that move. Always manage to land right in the middle and fly off.

I must not forget to talk about the costumes, some of them were awesome. The ninja turtles group had the best poses. We missed out on the power rangers group. Hetalia, soul eater, final fantasy, kuroshituji and pokemon were the most popular choices of costumes. I think we just took too many pics of those groups. I was really impressed by the white mage on a chocobo. I also spammed pics of master chief, dude, he has the plasma guns and they shine xD. To bad i missed master chief t-baggin some naruto character (i think it was a naruto char). Chang and I were so happy when we found Altair from assassin's creed. We got stopped quite a few times to get our pics taken. On saturday, we got lots of compliments. I guess being in a group, doing obscure but epic characters gets us compliments. I think only 5 people asked us if we were granado espada characters. One of them was an artist. She had GE fanart on sale at the con. And If you guys search the Anime North forums hard enough, I'm blond with a huge red dress, and yes, the blond hair is my real hair.

Also, I got Nobuyuki Hiyama-san to sign Twilight Princess. I'm so happy I got Link's voice actor to sign my game xD *happy dance* I bloody missed the dollfie market to get his autograph *_* When we got out, some guy was playing song of storms from zelda on his electric guitar on the lawn outside, I was very very happy. I love the song of storms.

I'm going again next year, I need to see the weapon and armor tutorial and the manga doctor panel. It looked really helpful, we only got to see the end to it. The guy at the far end of our table is bloody amazing that it just makes me depressed.
