I was really enjoying the first part, but then it went really dark and I was crushed. Still one of the best episodes they have ever done. I am not sure the brothers are ever going to recover from this.
I was thinking about the opening scene & all those beer cans. Makes me wonder if he was saying fuck you to something already.
That's the thing, isn't it? Sam's the one person who you would think would doubt the most, considering who he's supposed to be(come) - and he admits it there @ the beginning of the ep - but faced with what Joshua told them, he's the one still holding out and saying 'we can do something, we can still fight'

This is seriously hitting Dean hard. Sam, at least seems to be the one who's still holding it together. Dean's just done.

He is, isn't he. If Dean saw demons wreaking havoc right now I think he'd just crack open another beer and say fuck you all.
What's interesting is I can't see Sam saying Yes but I'm beginning to see how Dean might *sadface*
