the follow-through
He knows he doesn't have much time, not if he wants to set things right. He's going to hate leaving Sammy, but the demon told the truth. His brother doesn't need him. He's the one who's so damn needy. The weak link.
The demon possessed his father; the demon wants Sam. But it was Dean it used to break his family. This whole time he’s been the key to blowing his family all to hell, and Dean’s not going to be that person anymore.
All he needs is a chance to fix things.
Looks like he's going to get it.
