Since I'm going through a spot of writer's block at the moment, I thought some fic-based memery might help.

Post a single sentence from each WIP you have (or as many as you want to pick). No context, no explanations. No more than one sentence! (They're all untitled at this point).

You'll have to wait and see about the LoM/Devil's Ho crossover *cackles evilly* I'll give you a small hint - you inspired it ages ago, I just haven't gotten around to writing it yet.

Thank you hon, I thought they wouldn't be all that great since I really only have the length of the song to write them in (although I cheated a bit, and edited/finished off sentences afterwards).

She knows what she came for is probably the one I'd most likely elaborate on, because it's not the sort of story that's best expressed in drabble-esque form.

And Sam can't help it, he has to get all up in Gene's personal space and fight him, because it leads to Gene fighting back, and we all know the kinky little git gets off on it. :P

Punk!Sam is something I've been meaning to write for a while (I have a bit of a punk kink), and "Anarchy in the UK" was the perfect song to use that kink for.

Now that is a great meme, the songs and writing drabbles to them. Shit but I have such writer's block and wish I'd seen this meme earlier. All I've written lately is a piss poor contribution to a chain fic. If I sound surly, well, that's how I get when the writer's block sets in - a constipation of the mind!! Tomorrow, I shall give this meme go.

And I love your drabbles. They are all fabulous with their own tone and matching the songs. Nice!!

As soon as I saw the meme, I knew I had to do Sam and Gene. (No, not in that way. Unfortunately.) I think it might have helped with my writer's block actually. Since you have such a narrow space of time to write in, there is no time to procrastinate (which is what my major problem tends to be). And don't worry, you don't sound surly at all, I understand the frustration that comes with writer's block only too well.

ooooh tantilizing quotes from the WIPs (the
Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes in particular has got me excited) and absolutely bloody brilliant drabbles. 1,3,5 and 8 are my favourites. I still can't believe you could write these in just three minutes ;)
