Unexpected Joy Division for the win!
I'm about halfway through watching the third episode of Being Human, a show which has already impressed me with it's music choices (the use of "When the Sun Goes Down" by the Arctic Monkeys while George was searching for a place in the woods to transform was particularly inspired).
So when the third episode started using music from the Eighties, due to the circumstances surrounding a new character, I was a little excited, and possibly hoping for some unexpected Joy Division. Then "Love Will Tear Us Apart" was used. I don't think bouncing around in fangirly glee is the normal reaction to a Joy Division song, and it might not necessarily mean good things for Annie in terms of her ex-fiance if the lyrics of the song are being used to reflect the state of their relationship prior to her death, but it was Joy Division, and it was on one of my new favourite shows.
So yeah, I had to pause and fangirl, because that's how I roll.
