TASTE THE HAPPY!!!!
First off, I think this is what you call official... THERE IS GOING TO BE AN ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT MOVIE!!!
So odds are the Michael Cera is the one holding out, and while it could be written that George Michael went away to college or something it will be a shame to lose that character, particularly when the relationship between Michael and GM provided a lot of the heart of the show (not to mention the loss of a certain inappropriate ship of mine). Hopefully he's just holding out to see if the script is any good, which it will be. This is Mitch Hurwitz we're talking about after all.
Aside from this little hiccup, I'm irrationally excited. Just to see the Bluths again, with all the background jokes, the call-backs/forwards, the music, the cast and not even just the family themselves, is more than I could hope for. I think I've already decided I'm going to see it at least four times. the first time I'll just be so happy to see them all again that I probaly won't pay any attention to the plot, and after the second time which will be spent focussing on the plot there are the times I'll have to see it again for the background jokes I missed the first two times.

In other news, I was watching this documentary on The Monkees (shut up, it was cold and I didn't want to get out of bed) this morning and, as most documentaries do, it had a narrator. I was listening to this narration and the voice struck me as really familiar so I watched it until the end to see the credits, and low and behold it was John Simm :D I may have squeed. Just a little bit. Unexpected John Simm FTW!

And finally, I am contemplating writing an black comedy about a teenaged guy who gets turned into a werewolf (inspired by listening to "I Was a Teenage Werewolf" by The Cramps) and was thinking about posting it here. So this is pretty much just to ask if anyone would be interested in reading it!
ETA After my mini-meltdown the other day, candesgirl wrote me this quite lovely smutty Sam/Gene drabble, located here, which features my newly discovered kink (John Simm's delicious back). Go forth and read, because it is smoking, and thanks for the much needed pick-me-up, m'dear :)
