Author Notes: x__x OH,
rofflecakes. Sorry it's so short and BLAH. I just got back from the hospital and I knew I had to work on these fics. To everyone else just hang tight!
Kyuhyun always had a thing for Sungmin, you could say.
I mean, anyone with eyes could see that.
Except...Sungmin.
It was kind of a sad sight. Kyuhyun staring at Sungmin with such a longing it hurts you, Sungmin completely oblivious in that adorable way of his, going about his business without a care in the world.
I'm just glad I'm not that hooked on someone.
You'd think Sungmin would catch on, though, eventually, what with all the gifts and adoration Kyuhyun practically smothers him with. Just last week Kyuhyun had gone out and bought ice cream for everyone. While everyone got a tiny cup full, Sungmin had a big bowl with a banana split. No one was surprised or even annoyed, they just teased Kyuhyun while Sungmin obliviously ate his banana split happily before Eunhyuk and Donghae snuck it from him while he wasn't looking.
And mine, too, I might add.
It had been going on for what seems like months now, the rest of the band tells me.
"You're lucky you weren't here before," Kibum had whispered to me in broken English after a long practice, “he was unbearable!"
He's unbearable now. I can't imagine what it would have been like when I wasn't here.
I had thought they'd never get together.
Until...
It was Monday, I think, when Heechul had brought home a huge, pink, fuzzy blanket covered in baby bunnies to the house. He explained he had bought it on eBay under a false name ("Harrietta Juelz. Lovely, isn't it?") and it was just too adorable not to show everyone. No one else thought it was as "adorable" as Heechul made it out to be except Sungmin, who thought anything in pink was adorable.
And since Sungmin liked it, Kyuhyun liked it, of course.
After about 20 minutes, though, Heechul forgot about it and left it with Sungmin who cuddled up with it instantly on the couch. He stayed that way for a long time. Soon, he fell asleep.
While everyone else was out in about, painting the town red, me, Sungmin, and Kyuhyun were stuck here. Me, because no one wanted me around, Sungmin because he was too tired, and Kyuhyun because Sungmin was here (Obsessive much?). I had decided to hit the hay early because there was nothing else better to do. I didn't know much Korean and they knew very little English so I could tell that wouldn't have been much of a conversation. Sungmin had stayed up with the blanket cocooning him and Kyuhyun beside him (a bit closer than normal. Confident?). That was the last thing I had seen when I fell asleep.
When I woke up the next day, the rest of Super Junior was still gone but on the couch was the cutest (yeah, the cutest, sight I had ever seen).
Sungmin and Kyuhyun were cuddled up together, holding each other tight, the pink bunny blanket a mess around their bare feet and the glow of the television casting a strange, sweet light on them. I stopped myself from 'aww'ing and tiptoed quietly back to my room.
Maybe Sungmin isn't that oblivious after all.
