I bought the Alice Archives Greencover book back a few months ago and loved it. I got my copy from a website called, PlayAsia, and got it in about 2-3 weeks.
Ah, I love this art book. Green Cover spoils us so much with such wonderful illustrations. Honestly, I'm glad that you didn't post the whole art book. Some people just can't afford it, but others will simply take advantage of free scans and never buy it themselves. It was a good idea to advertise where you got it too. And I don't see a problem with posting sample images. When you got your art book, did it come with the drama CD? I'm just wondering because you didn't mention it. I know I got a drama CD with mine
( ... )
Oh, yes! I did get a drama CD, I'm sorry-- I knew I was forgetting to add in something. xD lol
You were able to translate the Alice/Nightmare story? Would you mind sharing the translation or summarizing the story for me? I'd really appreciate it.
Yeah, they sure have been taking their sweet time. Well, I hope it's atleast going to be worth the wait. :)
Nah, I haven't translated the Nightmare/Alice story. The novel format is something that is really hard for me to translate because I don't understand how it works. Since the short stories are done in 3rd person perspective, it's a completely different experience. I don't understand the grammatical structure for it.
Like I said, the Q&A sections in the character profiles aren't that bad. I can usually translate those. They are pretty insightful too. There are a lot of questions that you would never find the answer to by playing the games. If you have a character that you'd like to see their Q&A section translated, I can do that. But you'll need someone with more experience to translate the short stories. I'd like to see them translated too.
Ah, I see. Dx I really do hope that the story gets translated someday.
If you have time, would you be able to translate the Q&A section for Gray and (Black) Joker? I heard that Redcover portrayed the characters in their regular attire, meaning Circus/White Joker was in that one(?) so I'm guessing the Q&A section for Joker in Greencover would be directed at Black Joker rather than both Jokers?
I'll take a look at Gray's Q&A, and post it as soon as I can. But I just translated both the Joker Q&A sections a couple days ago. It's up on my LJ. It's not specified whether it's White or Black answering the questions in Red Cover and Green Cover, so the topic is up for debate as to whether Red Cover is White, and Green Cover is Black. Take a look and see what you think.
