Hello to all.

Dec 16, 2010 21:00

It's me Rachel. Haywire. Acidexia. I was wondering how many of you were still on LiveJournal. I started to miss a lot of my friends on here and realized that not all of you had moved to Facebook or Twitter. I was wondering how you guys were doing.

Currently I have been blogging at http://experimenthaywire.com and working on my record label/modeling agency/fashion company http://machinekunt.com. My big focuses have been music, modeling, and running machineKUNT. Currently we are scoring the music to a television series along with throwing events and release parties. MK started out as a niche record label for independent women who were making music in the electronic/industrial/noise genres but with the decay of physical media we decided to take things a bit further.

Working with independent models and clothing designers we quickly found that certain types of people in these realms were also fans of our music. We didn't want to stop being a record label but to combine all forms of art and create a multi-media revolution. It's pretty exciting to be living my dream now despite all the time and money it has cost me. This is everything I wanted when I began writing Acidexia. Of course I now have completely different goals but I am happy that I was able to arrive.

I will leave you guys with two articles I wrote. The first is about the Internet in 2002 in comparison to the Internet today. The second is about what I refer to as the death of memetics. Welcome back to my world.

+ If this is social media where will the antisocial types go?

+ The Death of Memetics

Acidexia is now in the process of becoming a physical book. Be sure to check out http://acidexia.com for updates. You will be getting the best of the best in regards to the history of this journal.
