Disgruntled Starbucks employee's and Child Pornography Perverts.
Two completely different issues, but i shall voice my opinions on both....
I very rarely go to Starbucks. However this city tends to ALWAYS have some sort of FREE Starbucks promotion going on, so i take advantage of it when i can. I received a $5 Starbucks gift card the other day on my way to work, and decided to grab myself a venti Carmel Apple Spice on my walk back from the office this morning. ( I'm a sucker for warm apple juice. )
Now i've never worked in the food industry, or anything like it, ( other then the few times bartending ) however i have to give A LOT of credit to baristas. I dont think i could tolerate the fast paced activity AND the patience to tolerate peoples bullshit.
Whether i am extremely frustrated by the service somewhere, i generally try to remain calm and polite. The woman in FRONT of me in line, was causing a huge hissy fit over a whopping 10% off on something, combining two Starbucks cards. ( in the most whining, condescending tone of voice ) " WHA WHA WHA, I use these together all the time, BLAH BLAH BLAH, You forgot to give me the 10% off.".... Seriously? 10% off on a fucking coffee? Why?
The woman making my beverage was very obviously frustrated by this all. She was ringing people up, but then moved over to preparing drinks. I could SEE and HEAR her mumbling under her breath. The way this woman was speaking to her, i would have lost it, and thrown the scolding steamed beverage at her face.
She then looked at me as she handed me my beverage and said "Thank you for your patience, and roller her eyes." I told her not to sweat it, and that she had more guts than i did.

Child Pornography Perverts
So while drinking my coffee and eating my breakfast, we had the today show on the TV. They show some preview of a story about "America's Picturesque Family" but yet, they have a DEEP DARK SECRET. DUN DUN DUN....
They reveal the fact that the perfect father of this family was found to have had 20 pornographic photos of children on his computer at home. He of course was sentenced to prison for this act. For how long you ask? 200 FUCKING YEARS. TWO HUNDRED!!!
Yes, this man was a pervert, and had a sick deep dark secret which i feel is completely justified for punishment. However having a naked photo of what was probably a 17 year old Asian girl, = More time in jail than most people get Raping, Murdering, Robbing someone??
Once again, DON'T get me wrong. I personally find this to be an extremely horrible thing. But people receive less punishment for WAY more severe acts of crime. I don't get it.
And to top it all off, Throw the wife and oldest son ON TV, to just talk about how they had no idea it was going on in their home ( on the computer ) and how hurt they were.
