My first Arabic words
This week we finally began writing in Arabic script. The Arabic alphabet has 28 letters and for each of those letters there are 4 different ways of writing them. It's very odd taking about 5 mins to write down one word because you have to look up the individual letters and figure out how to join them together. It's even more odd to look back at what you've written and you no longer know what it is supposed to say.
