It certainly has been a while since I've updated my LJ. A lot has been going on in my life lately, some negative things but also some very positive things, but I don't want to get into details because I don't want to rant too much. I'm pretty ranted-out after attending Anime Central 2011 in Chicago with my boyfriend. It was really fun even though there may have been a bit of drama the fun and deep conversations with other fans made up for that. We only went to a few panels, but they are really intriguing ones and I would rather go to 4 really great panels than 10 panels that are disorganized and not mentally stimulating. Going to the "Ah My Goddess" & the "Revolution of Evangelion" fan panels really made me want to re-watch these shows for sake of nostalgia but also for all of the new theories that other fans came up with about various events of the show & movies. I also went to my first ever "Anime Hell" viewing and omg... I can't even describe how crazy awesome anime hell is... If you never been to one I definitely suggest going to it at a con near you, but be warned that everything in anime hell is a complete mind frag~! XD
I'm seriously considering getting a artist table for the next Sugoicon, I know that I could sell prints of my artwork but I really want to get a comic in the works. Yes, I do have a web comic called "Riyu & Panja" on drunkduck.com but it's been forever since I've worked on that comic. I've been thinking about re-doing that comic but I'm not sure what direction I want the story to go in. Honestly I would rather just make a short story manga to start off with and then perhaps go on to a continuing story manga, it's just so difficult to decide what the ending is going to be for me. :< Does anyone reading this have any tips for writing short story manga?
Also, I'm open for commissions, I'm also open to do art trades just pm or e-mail me~! :3
