I'm glad it wasn't too sweet. Once I re-read it I was happier with it - and writing Jayne is so much fun. Heh. I'm very glad the characters seemed in-character. And - heh - I did try to give it that sort of voyeuristic feel, but without being too invasive.

HOT DAMN!

I think you killed my brain from the hotness! I loved everything about this. I loved Jayne's gentle but eager coaching, River's innocence in all this, and especially how he kept having her say his name.

Thank you so, SO much for this! This really made my day. You did a fantastic job on this and I would love to read its surrounding story.

Oh, I'm so, so glad you liked it. Hee. I'm so used to writing a somewhat dark side of these two that I decided to do something a little softer, while still keeping that intensity. And I love the name thing; I thought it would be a really nice, intimate touch, and the repetition would amp up the heat.

It's great to know you enjoyed it, and I'm glad it turned out so well. I actually really liked writing it. Heh.

(And that is a great song, isn't it? Hee.)
