Yup, got my tweaking done and finally posted the darn thing! Heh. Thanks for commenting - especially since you've already read it. Heh.

I thought about what you said - the River rejecting men scene, and also the Mal helping Simon thing - and I liked both of those ideas together so I think what I'm going to do is have chapter four basically be a big "fashion show" (yay! the next corny title rears its head) of men for River - Mal and Simon presiding over it, of course. Heh heh. So I'm really, really looking forward to that! :)

Usually I have beta-readers who just make a correction here and there, so it was really nice to have more in-depth commentary. Heh. ^_^

Thanks for the comment! So glad you love it. *warm writing fuzzies* Yes - I personally don't see Simon as particularly observant when it comes to interpersonal things, but he is a doctor and as we saw in Ariel he knows what he knows, and he knows River. Heh. (Sorry for the ramble...)
