Yo people!
Just dropping by quickly to tell you a few things about Wagamama:
1 - working the bar with only ONE functioning fruit fucker juice machine is hell. >.<
2 - on the first friday of each month, "anybody who's ever had anything to do with Islington (ie the branch I work in) gets together to BOND" <-- this was told to me by Leann, who worked at Wagamama, sister of Kereth who works there now. They were both extremely drunk last night, after attending Sasha's (another co-worker) birthday party.
3 - It seems likely that half of the staff here is at least bi and/or gay. Yay!
4 - I got informed that Wagamama was a CULT, and both Leann and Kereth officially 'bonded' me to them. Like the familia, if you would. Except with more noodles.
5 - I'm working doubles today and tomorrow, which means 12h25-15h and 17h50-23h30, which is quite tiring. But hey, the pay's good!
6 - I don't know how, but I managed to cut most of my fingers AND do substantial damage to my fingernails by working at the bar. Oww.
7 - I tasted tequila for the first time last night, after we finished cleaning up the bar (under the dictator-like eye of team leader Terry). Juan gave me a plastic red sombrero filled with said liquid. I can't say I really like the stuff though.
8 - The manager Mauricio bought me another round in the pub we gathered in, because he thought I looked hot in my fetishoes, which I had donned for the occasion.
