Got sunburned, not too bad, on my arms. Anytime they get hurt (cat scratches, hot water) it just hurts slightly more.

Saw "Up", loved it. Brian Wood (author of the amazing comic "DMZ") brought up an interesting thought about Pixar: they haven't done a single movie with a female lead character. Sure, "The Incredibles" had co-lead husband/wife characters, but "Monster's Inc.", "Toy Story 1/2", "Finding Nemo", "Wall-E", "Up", "Cars", "Ratatouille" and "A Bug's Life" all have male leads. With their main audience being children of both genders, this is slightly odd.

Rewatched "Primer", still love it.

Watched David Mamet's "Redbelt" and lovvveeeed it. I just really really enjoyed it, I didn't even think about whether or not it was a "good" movie. Chiwetel Ejiofor was perfect playing the lead. Also Joe Mantegna, Tim Allen, David Paymer and the rest of the cast was great too.

Just finished rereading the comic Concrete and it's still my favorite comic.

I started reading this book I bought for a dollar in the city called "Warrior King" by a Lt. Col. who served in Iraq. I'm about 100 pages in and I really like it. I love true war stories.

Probably going to see Rosetta alone tonight.

The other day I was laying on the floor with our oldest cat Pasha. She has to be around 15 years old or so. I got really sad thinking that she will soon die. Is death a disease?
