Went to an 8-bit house show at Facundo's last night. It was a lot of fun for the most part. Good music and it was a total dance party. Met some cool new people to. But the people who came, stood as far back as they could and tried to act cool got on my nerves. Cmon guys, the musicians are playing freakin' game boys, no need for toughness.
Also people who think being on a message board and talking shit makes them cool. And people who make a total mess of someone's house, and when the owner obviously is tired and eventually goes to bed, you just stay and don't give a shit without trying to even clean up.
On Tuesday, before Comic Book Club, I'm meeting with a director I worked with two years ago to discuss his new script. Hopefully this will lead to me getting a paying job with him in the future. Hopefully.
