Yesterday I was on a spec commercial shoot. Hopefully the company we did it for will either take it, ask us to remake it with a budget or get us another job. It was hectic and fun. Cats are the worst actors ever.
Then I picked up Awesome and his brother and went to see Divinity Destroyed open for Cradle of Filth. We left after them, skipping out on Satyricon, because his brother needed to get back so he could play in an indoor ultimate Frisbee game and I'm sick too. On the way there and coming back, his brother (16) was asking me questions about music. He had never heard of Nine Inch Nails or even the term industrial.
We took him to the game and watched it too. it was interesting. It was all ages for men and women. Some people took it way too seriously and others seemed like they were there just to hang out. His brother got a bloody nose in the first five minutes.
After that we watched The Three Burials of Melquiades Estradda, a movie directed by Tommy Lee Jones, starring him, Dwight Yokam and Barry Pepper. It was good, but kind of all over the place. I love those three actors though.
I'm pretty sick right now, which blows. I'm drinking tea, eating soup and not moving much.
Dash has moved away.
I haven't heard from my dad in two days, which is odd.
I need to return some DVDs but it's bastardly cold outside.
