So I just saw Eastern Promises, a movie with Naomi Watts, Viggo Mortensen and Armin Mueller-Stahl (who is AWESOME, but should never be without his mustache) and directed by David Cronenberg. I dug it a lot.
It reminded me of A History of Violence stylistically. His older stuff is very over the top, in all ways. These last two films have been very subtle, even when they go into extreme areas. To do that takes real skill. Viggo was awesome in it, really fantastic. I'm happy he can actually act.
I filmed my second short during the day. Let's hope it comes out well.
Boris, Melvins, Jesu and Isis are all touring. Ridiculous.
