So Awesome came to my house, we went to my work, got my check, I deposited it at the bank in the Stop and Shop supermarket next door and then we bought some goodies for Divinity.
After, we went to the Salvation Army store. I bought one grey, button down shirt, 4 or 5 books and Dumb and Dumber on VHS. Cost me around 7 bucks. The smell in there though...it was like every piece of clothing was sprayed with an entire bottle of Febreeze. Dear god.
Then we picked up Alex, Nick and his sister Jules and drove down to the Stone Pony in Asbury park. Aside from them, there was only one band I liked, they were called Hsu-Nami. Instrumental, proggy rock. Neat stuff. We spoke to the guys in Divinity, Jeremy showed up, then Divinity played, and they played very well, and then we talked to them even more. Nick and I had a great conversation with Jim aboot Batman and Star Wars. Weee.
Then Alex went with Jeremy to his house, so Nick, Jules and Awesome and I went to RFC. Of course there was an incident, there ALWAYS is. Some guy started yelling how he gave the the employee a 20 instead of a 10. He was obviously lying. Something like that always happens. Ridiculous.
I was looking for people to talk to at the show, just randoms who might be cool, and honestly, everybody looked like they were trying to impress someone. I was like that at one time, I know, for sure. I used to always look around, seeing who might be looking my way. Now I dunno. It's hard to gauge people.
Feelin' a bit lonesome.
