(no subject)
Semester is ending soon, next week are finals and what not. Got a meeting friday morning that I didn't know I needed to have in order to take the last two courses I need. You'd think being added into the teachers college and passing the tests would've been enough, but they didn't mention the need to have a meeting so someone else could place me into a class that was readily available for me to sign up myself. But whatever.
Been out of ffxi since mid-October, have to say I have a lot of free time now but I don't really miss the game. Economy has gone to crap and not many of the people I knew well play it on a regular basis. But I have figured stuff to do when I get bored, take up dat editing and refine my photoshop skills (or lack of any substantial skills).
So I took the gear I always wanted to pimp around in and tinkered with it. I took what I knew, samurai af2 and the relic great katana and made them darker. I never really dug the green colors it had so I darkened the tone much darker, pretty much black. Then I darkened relic great katana to match up. Only thing I really need to do is fix the gold which sucks because they are all of 1-3 pixels wide which is quite a pain in the ass to blend effectively.
I figure I'd post it here along with the zen forums for anyone that wanted an image for a sig with new armor or if people had any specific requests over winter break I could tinker with them since I'll be stuck on dial up with no cable tv so I'll ahve loooooooooots of time on my hands.
Note: the light source got screwed up on it so it looks a lot darker than it really is though it is still dark. Gotta fix it but I'm tinkering with different mesh edits.
