Finally updating
Cause, you know, a 3 month plus hiatus is long enough, you know? Let`s see, anything new... I moved to a newer and nicer apartment, but then again pretty much everyone who knows me knows that. That`s about it, really. I`ve been trying to study Japanese more seriously of late, since working for an eikaiwa forever would... not be optimal. I went drinking last night with one of my friends and a friend of his who I kind of knew, both of whom I`d worked with at ECC both they`ve both moved on, one to teaching at a junior high, one to translating at Hitachi. The latter is definitely something I`d like to move into doing, and seeing people do this is definitely a good kick in the pants for me to study hard.
Oh, I watched the horribly horribly bad movie Knock-Off last night with said friend, a fellow connoisseur of bad flicks, and merriment in mockery was had. I still bear a grudge for the classmate that insisted we see it back in HS, what, did he have a crush on Van Damme, or heaven forbid, Rob Schneider?
Lastly, I might try Airsoft (paintball minus the paint) on New Year`s Day, especially since Aya`ll be with her folks again this year, as well as bidding goodbye to the spirit of her deceased dog. I`ll probably suck horribly at it, but what better way to inaugurate the year of the Cow than by shooting one`s fellow man in a Japanese warehouse?
