Ok well.. it was great. the guys were great. they enjoyed my friends house... we go them pizza and my friends got them bagels for the morning. Josh was insistent on playing cranium and my team won. My partner was their on the road pastor. Josh is horrible at guessing ... Ivory is hilarious at acting out. "CAT LITTER FOOT BATH" ha!
Patrick and his girlfriend aren't too great at word worm... and my partner and I suck at data head.. but we still won. :(
That was all later on.. but after the show. I witnessed something that I couldn't even believe.
We were waiting by the van and trailer, to load up and stuff when we heard some arguing. Turns out it was the lead singer of The Fall Of Troy and he was arguing with his girlfriend.
“I’ve been trying to go home for the past three days!” She yelled at him. “Why don’t you let me go?”
“Why do you want to leave me?” He asked, sobbing. “I can’t live without you here with me.”
“I told you my mother would fly me home. I’m sick of being here. I can’t do this.” She said.
“Why not? Don’t you want to be here with me?” The guys and I exchanged uncomfortable glances, but couldn’t help to listen.
“I can’t stand being around all these bitches! They just want to suck your dick because you’re in a band!!!”
Patrick walked up with his girlfriend and told us they could hear the yelling all the way inside the venue. It turns out that the argument had been going on earlier in the night. Mike joined us with the information that they had been arguing for a good half an hour and didn’t care that he was in the room with them.
A door slamming interrupted our discussion, the argument had moved into the van next to us. We could still hear them and their argument intensified.
“Why won’t you listen to me?” She asked. “I just want to go home. Why can’t you let me go home?”
“Because I want you here with me! I love you.” He pleaded with her.
“Well I can’t handle this! I can’t be around all this anymore. I just want to go home.” She seemed very frustrated.
Their argument became very muffled and we actually forgot about it for a few minutes. That was, until the van started shaking. Everyone turned their attention over to the van, watching it shake back and forth, back and forth. He was kicking the big back window of the van. None of us saw what was coming next as the glass shattered all over the parking lot. Most of us simultaneously put our hands up to our mouths.
The lead singers girlfriend screamed as he tried to get out of the van.
“Let me out of my van, or I’ll break another window.” He began to bring his foot to the window and she let him out. The drummer for that band came out and noticed the window.
“How could you do that?” The drummer yelled. “Tell me you seriously didn’t do that!!” He stormed off to the other side of the parking lot where his friends were.
YEAH. totally crazy. so like.. don't take your girlfriend on tour if you don't plan on being faithful... (turns out he was unfaithful before and she took him back.) well don't have a girlfriend at all for that matter and if you're the girl and your boyfriend is the lead singer of a touring band and he cheats on you... why would you take him back!!!????... but still. yeah.. wow. that's a really messed up relationship. just saw on their website that they didn't go to canada. which we all had figured.
