So, over the past week, I managed to do my taxes, go out on a myriad of dates, worked like a maniac, and got my fair share of drinkin on. All in all, it's been good.
I did go out Saturday night, however, with Mikey and my friend Lynn from work. We grabbed some drinks at Club Cafe, then headed over to Epic to do some dancing. I'd never been there, and never plan on going again if I can help it. Not only was it chock full of all the horrifying kinds of people I just don't like, but I certainly had some dude toss my drink on me. Not fun. Of course, I was the bigger person because I wasn't drunk enough to actually start something over myself. If it had been a friend of mine this happened to though, oh the shit woulda been on.
Had breakfast at IHOP before D&D on Sunday with Alan, which was fun. I got to drive his truck! Yay driving!
That night I went out to this bar in Brookline Village called Matt Murphy's for a date with this boy Brennon. He seemed cute, we sort of made the plans spontaneously and I figured, why the hell not. We grabbed a beer, chatted, hung out for a bit, then he had to leave on account of bad medication reaction. Not good.
I spent all day Monday hanging out at home and watching movies, which was so awesome and necessary.
Worked yesterday, it sucked balls. Was slow as hell and I got all depressed midway through my shift. Trevor got a new haircut, it looks good.
Today I got my tax return back and I'm now going to be heading out into the great blue yonder to enjoy some delicious BBQ fun time in the sun!
Oh yeah, and I spent most of the morning and a fair amount of last night chatting with Brennon. Me thinks this might have an inkling of a possibility of good things to come. We shall see. Our next scheduled hang-out time is Saturday. ZuZu dance party? Maybe some Heroes at TTs? It remains to be seen.
