Crocheting
I've gotten back into the mood of crocheting.
I've got two projects going right now: a green doily, the same pattern as my first black one (that I gave to my mom for her birthday), and a thicker yarn that I'm using to make cushion cases for our couch cushions.
There's something really quite soothing about crocheting. If I haven't been crocheting for a while, I'll lose my... swiftness, I guess you could say; my neatness. But once I get back into the 'groove', it's really quite fun, and I find myself going through rows and rows quite quickly.
It also really fulfilling to finish something. I've so far only finished two doilies, one black and one white. The green one I'm working on now, though, is much neater and the pattern is much clearer. I can't wait to see how this one will turn out.
It's a good hobby, I think. It gives me something to do to wile away idle hours other than read and consequently kill my eyes. Though reading an educational book or two from time to time probably wouldn't go amiss... if that's even the right term to use. :D
Right. Now I don't even remember why I started this post, except to occupy myself while waiting for the STUPID MEGAVIDEO TO LET ME WATCH MY SHIT!!! -Kills it- Honestly though! Why are all the online links to TV shows from Megavideo these days??? It only lets you watch for 72 minutes inlcuding loading time, then you have to BUY the stupid shit! -Kills it again-
