Oly oly oxen free!
Well, as you all know Suz and I are no longer bf/gf. About 3 weeks ago we had a break, which led into a breakup. It was strange getting used to at first, but I'm good now. I come out of the relationship with 2 years of good memories and gratitude. And Suz and I are still friends which is great.
Two exams this week. Heat and Mass Transfer (ME 315) + Systems Modeling (ME 315). I got an 85% on the 315 exam, which is a happy thing. Next week I'll be finishing up all types of projects for a few classes.
In addition, the Go-Kart for Purdue Solar Racing is finally coming to completion. Once the brakes are attached it'll finally be done. Then I can watch the freshmen die as they drive it at totally unsafe speeds.
Lots of fun stuff has been in the news lately: The Duke Lacrosse team was proven innocent and the prosecutor and the accuser are the perpetrators. And Imus insulted a random team of black girls and finds himself the whipping boy of the entire nation. I know what he said was stupid and bigoted, but honestly.... the ramblings of one crotchety old man does not set black people back 50 years. I really think this is just one big opportunity for self-appointed civil rights leaders to relive the glory days.
I don't think Osama Bin Laden or Saddam Hussein ever got denounced this hard by the mainstream media. At least I don't have to hear about Anna Nicole Smith or Global Warmism for a while.
