So on Tuesday of Spring break, I got a call from Littelfuse Corp of Chicago. They were offering me a position at $17/hr. I didn't reply immediately because I had another interview at a place in Fairfield, Indiana by the name of BlueArc.
The interview at BlueArc went alright, but it wasn't too exciting. It sounded like they weren't too sure about me, so I started making plans with Littelfuse. Two days later, BlueArc catches me with my pants down and offers me the position at their place.
After a lot of tough thought, I've decided to go with BlueArc. They are closer, and the $12/hr they pay me will be offset by the fact that I don't need an apartment to work there. Now I've gotta call Littelfuse on Monday and tell them they’ll have to find a replacement for me. Also, I have to become familiar with SolidWorks before I start there.
So this summer I plan to
- Get a Nintendo Wii,
- Get a membership at Climbtime (others are welcome to join me)
- Give some kind of charitable donation to something
- Take your mom out to a nice seafood dinner and never call her again.
