Ok, I lied
OK. Prom fucking rocked. Here's my theory, because I didn't have all these expectations that it would be so great and amazing and movie like, it turned out movie like. It was perfect. Well minus Dyson walking in with my least favorite person ever, Caitlin Curry. For about ten seconds I couldn't breath and "tears formed behind my eyes, but I did not cry." But then I was ok and it was amazing.
It was at Tammeron Country Club and it was beautiful. Pretty much like on movies. Not like MQT where prom is in the gym. Trash. The dance floor was soooo packed it was unreal. I loved it. Honestly it was one of the best nights of my life. Hands Down. Riley and I finally got our dance, not just any dance but the last dance and it was to my favorite song ever, Edwin McCain "I'll be". I will never get over him, honestly. But I loved being his friend again.
After Prom was even better. All the couples drove up to Cascade to party but me, Holly, Steph, Christine, and Evian all stayed. There was a mechanical bull, the trampoline bungee thing, a blow up obstical course, laser tag, a gambling room, DDR, kareoke, just shitloads of stuff, and crazy prizes like IPods and shit. Of course I didn't win any of those buuuut....at the beginning we all could enter out ticket in one of the ten grand prizes that they do at the very end of the night and only the kids still there can win. Well I entered mine in the free cell phone with $150 gift certificate to Alltel, I FUCKING WON! That never happens to me! I am so stoked it's been HELL without a cell phone, it's really harming my love life, I can't get booty calls on my home phone geez. Anyways before that we were getting people together for laser tag and I got Riley to come on my team but the tag things were broken, so we just decided to play regular tag in this giant blow up maze. IT WAS AWESOME. Honestly I was out of breath from laughing so hard. DJ caught Riley and I in a dead end and we both just feel to the ground laughing. Serisously sobriety can be fun!
It was like for the first time in a long time everything went well for me. Why why can't I be optimistic... It gave me hope. Maybe things will start to get better for me. It sure as hell would help if they did. Because all the drugs in the world can't make my life more liveable.
