A-pretty niiice
Hey, copyin' over Cait's excellent stealth work--check out "My LJ" ( http://my.livejournal.com/ or http://www.livejournal.com/portal/ ) for some new twists on an old tale.
I should have updated massively from this weekend, but it just wasn't in me til now. So without further ado...props to Heather for throwing an amazing Halloween bash! A. Maz. Ing. I knew three people on the way in and thirty on the way out--the Rudes are very cool in person, and Lady MacBeth wasn't nearly as frightening as I thought she'd be. There were enough Firefly costumes to keep the night interesting, and I met a very convincing Bill the Butcher who, paradoxically, will be directing the stageplay of "Closer" in coming weeks. I hope I get a chance to catch it. Also, congrats to a certain someone for scoring a date this weekend. Hope all goes well. :D
In other news, Josh and I will be meeting up sometime this weekend. Very exciting--who knows what memories the very sight of him will dredge up? I hope we have time enough to hang out and reminisce; I know it's going to be a busy weekend for him. Good luck with the interview, buddy.

Next up: a long weekend in D.C. and then, a little veteran's day action. Plenty of time to get those resumes out, neh? Also, y'all check out Jarhead on Friday. Looks as mind-twisting as Donnie Darko with the sis-boom-bah we've all been missing from Hollywood. Reviews forthcoming.
