Summary of the past week
I've been busy! Work, meetups, spending time with the guy I like, watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, rereading the last two Harry Potter books before the final one is released, reading book club books, and trying to keep in touch with old friends. I've also started a hand-written journal where I write down my thoughts and feelings that I probably shouldn't post online. It feels good to do that-- recording personal thoughts and experiences, working out problems, and just venting . My hand starts hurting after writing about a page, but I try to power through. When I become famous (and trust me, I will somehow), that journal will be a hot item! Hehe. So, yeah, those are my excuses for not writing this past week.
Meetup.com is the coolest. I went to a wine meetup on Thursday, which was super fun. And I went to NOGGIN on Monday, hosted by
cmeador. It was a lot of fun! I am looking forward to two more meetups this week. I know it seems like I'm over-doing it a bit, but I've just joined all the groups and I don't want to miss meetings in the very beginning.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-- I am so excited! I think I've mentioned that to everyone I know. Seriously though, I am so excited and sad, at the same time. Though I'll always be able to re-read the books (and I will), it won't be the same without the anticipation of what will happen next. But I'll make it... My life will go on. And I hope that Harry's does too. Yeah I know its fiction.
