First entry of a new journal
Well here it is..the beginning of a fresh start for me. Before journals were always about writing things down so other will have a glimpse of what is going on in my life. This is different. This time I am writing purely for myself, and only for myself. At some point I may let some friends take a look at what is behind the closed barriers of the "private entries" that livejournal allows me to keep hidden. But for the rest of you, if any of you should find this, I am afraid this is where your journey must end. If you want to you can always leave me comments on this entry about whatever you want, whatever is on your mind, or if you need to just ask me something.
It was just time for a fresh start for me. The girl who I used to be is fading. I don't know if others can see it but i can feel it. My insecurities that used to take over my daily life have almost completely vanished, I don't give myself headaches from worries anymore, and also I have grown up in some ways. I'm still and always will be me, I will always be Beth. There is no way that I could change who I am completely, nor would i ever really want to. Yet I have gone through some changes and growth over the last year or so and I am ready to make some changes in my life. This being one of them.

Born: adopted from Georgia
Raised: West Orange NJ, Long Valley NJ
Currently: Mansfield PA for college
Major: music therapy
Things I have done that I am proud of: Being a member of Teens Against Crime at the police station for7 years and being VP last year, Habitat for Humanity: helping to build wheelchair ramps and a new porch for a lady in Tennessee, Going to Bosnia and working at schools and camps for the past two years, Going to Texas this upcoming summer to teach people about the war, Earning my silver award in GS, being in my youth group
Hobbies: music, singing, flute, drawing, scrapbooking, photography, computers, acting, community service, yoga, writing stories
Relationships: I am very happy in the relationship i am in and i wouldn't change it for anything in the world. :)
