Simple Pleasures
The city is pouring a new sidewalk on my block. At lunch, after looking twice to my left and three times to my right, I grabbed a convenient stick and carved the V symbol in the fresh cement. Then I ran off with a big grin on my face. It's small but visible and bang in front of my house. Whee!!
