Wow...well the retreat was really good. We learned a lot and it was tons of fun. It was really nice having such a small, intimate group. And even though there was no snow...the place we stayed was pretty sweet. Loads of fun...

As for how ours went. Well...really good.
I'm sure pictures will be put up, so the location will be fairly well covered. But it was a lovely little beach house. Three stories tall overlooking the ocean. There was a twenty foot high wall of sand between us and the beach. (with a set of stairs of course)
There was also a pool. Both the pool and the ocean (go figure) were unheated...so of course we went swimming anyways. (Lance, Zach, Joy, and I)
Cold but fun.
The setting was very intimate, so it made for great group dynamics. We had an overall good time in the studies and a very good time in prayer on the beach at night. We went around praying for each otehr individually. It was great...a taste of what it should be like as a Christian all the time...but sadly it isn't.
I learned a lot about looking further into scripture. I'd been over Ephesians before...but going through it again in such depth really helped me to realize how much I should look into the rest of scripture. It gave some really good insight.
We also debated some more on predestination. I truly enjoy that. It helps me to refine my views and gain insight from others. it also helps me to know more about what I believe so I can defend it more readily.
It'd be great if you could come on the next one. We had a really great time in all respects. Fun, friends, and of course God. Which is always a nice mix...when you can have an enjoyable time AS WELL as a time of learning.
A great trip...possibly one of the best.
