'time capsule'
This kind of thing comes in long stretches in diaries, but I can condense it all here, now, a little time capsule if you will. (That whole sentence sounds so much better I promise you if only you read it mentally in a British accent.) I want to mark what my faves/currents were immediately before my 17th birthday. My favourite/current:
book I'm reading: The Magus by John Fowles (previously read A Tree Grows In Brooklyn)
band/CD/music: Adam (and the) Ant(s); The Smiths' The Queen Is Dead; Otep for jogging
movie(s): La Dolce Vita/Marcello Mastroianni thing
drink: that Fr. vanilla flavored pre-mix coffee
things to do: cook like a fiend! constant studying of Italian; getting up late for school! yess (7.30-8 instead of 6.15)
restaurant: remains East Side Grille; but I love Nini's (Mimmo's) & La Veracruzana
want to try: getting my license! escargot/various foods; jogging for real outside; shaving my head or something; be more extroverted
upcoming: doing my observations/upcoming drivings; hearing back from colleges!! (Drexel should be 1st early March! ahh!)
classes: TA'ing for Ms. Crago's juniors, Italian @ Smith, more AP Euro
writing: 3rd screenplay (Amber, Ella, Ronnie, Curtis)
outfit/clothes: i got that tie! and the pink cap-sleeve loose hoodie; 'glittens;' green eyeshadow under my eyes w/ wet q-tips; my grey xmas coat
gripes: i hate the fucking cold!! i wish it was summer forever; and i wish i had a bf!
Oh and my friends just threw me an early surprise bday party and that was awesome. I'm going to a sushi/Japanese restaurant tomorrow night Osaka w/ my friend L. and my mom. I'm so excited! I'm running my lava lamp too.
