I would love to say House Stark, because Oop North is basically my habitat and my homeland, but it's probably going to be House Lannister, amongst the devious bastards - although I'd have poisoned Joffrey by now.

I preferred Stark over any other houses before I even realised that Stark = York (though, you know, the House names and colours should probably have tipped me off), which was possibly due to it being the Northern House. Just its geographical location, and the fact that the values in the North are similar to those in the English North, made it feel familiar. Then I found out that it is York, and that just settled it for me.

I feel like House Stark gets the best setting too - I love that kind of rugged natural beauty, and there are great scenes set there in the outdoors. Like when they find the direwolf cubs, for example. And the tree! It certainly feels the most homelike out of all of the landscapes, to me. I also enjoy that it occupies a similar kind of position that the northern cities held to Hadrian's Wall before Scotland was really explored (which really evokes a similar feeling to The Eagle for me). You know that everything to the north of it is strange and mystical and unknown - it's the last truly human place before the edge of the world.

A Lannister always pays his debts, and that's something I feel very strongly about. So although Stark will always hold a piece of my heart, I think I'd be a Lannister. ;)
