A month off frisbee seems to have made me complacent- the first day of Tour 2 was awesome :) three really good (and often close) games, a great and fun team of players...wicked!
And I owe major thanks to Ian Brzeski from Lemmings 1 for sorting out my backhand throw; because I can't get a proper grip on the disc with my dead thumb, I tend to twist from the hips when I make a backhand throw in order to get the power (that is BAD- only the throwing arm moves in a backhand). Ian noticed this when I was chucking around between games and came to offer some help- within 2 minutes I was throwing a perfect backhand with such minimal effort, simply by making a small change to how I hold the disc :D
And of course, we have the 9am game tomorrow. Against Lemmings 3! :s
Still can't believe I've agreed to be in Birmingham town centre for 7.30am on Monday morning. It'll be an experience, at least :) As well as a little more income for China.
Really REALLY need to get more of the trip sorted out.... namely, visa and flights.
