Me, me, me
Someone commented recently that I'm one of the 'representative students' of the uni. And 'getting about a bit in the publicity' was another phrase. And yeah, having just seen and read all the things I have, I am!
I'm on a 6ft display poster for Computer Games Design used on open days- the same photo is also now in the 09/10 prospectus. An article I wrote for Varsity is in the final edit of GK News. I was on one of the finalist teams for the Buzz the Nation clash of the unis tour when it came to Staffs on Tuesday, so I'm in the photos for that... I might still be on Clubs and Societies executive committee to dicuss sports policies and facilities with the Union, University and sports centre.... It's fair to say I'm an active member of the uni/Union!
Long weekend at home planned for this weekend- going home after training tonight and not returning til Monday and ELTS. Should be good, even though I've got to take my laptop and FYP work back with me. But may also be taking my electric guitar back so I can still practice... Learnt how to play 'Light Up My Room' by Barenaked Ladies last night. It's a nice and easy picked song that I love to relax to.
Next weekend is the busy one- Aye Aye Open in Norwich, my first time playing for Lemmings. There's only 7 of us going, and I do know at least 3 of them- it'll be a great experience!
However, got a message today that Aces have now been offered the first refusal place at Aye Aye Open.... though I doubt we'll be able to get a team together, it's too far for any of the team to be able to afford it.
