Hellboy, mud and ponchos

Aug 10, 2008 17:32

My birthday was good. Got to Stoke, met up with people, had chinese takeaway and watched Hellboy, then went to see advanced screening of Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. I liked.

Music festival was win, despite the rain. Richard Digance on the Saturday graveyard slot was always going to be the highlight for me, but there were a good few acts I enjoyed this year. FINALLY bought a tin whistle in C instead of D, so no more hours of transposition!

Rain + field = mud. My previously blue trainers aren't blue any more.

Oh, and ponchos rule. I have one now, a nice longish one in pretty colours (reddy/bluey/purpley).

I need sleep, a decent bath and chocolate. Who knows, I may actually get round to a proper update sometime soon!

Back to Stafford tomorrow, who knows when or by what mode of transport. Though I think hovercraft is out of the question.
