Another day, another day at work!

Deathly quiet, as the last week and a bit of exams starts today. And I'm on the early shift- pleasantly happy that I woke up naturally BEFORE my alarm went off at 6.15am. Also feeling better than I have been for a few days- I've felt fine, but a little not with it. I've also not felt hungry for about a week and a half now, and I have to remind/force myself to eat. Not brilliant I know...but at least I've done it ^^;

Random little jaunt down to Stafford at 10pm last night to show Kris where Nelson library is was a welcome break from an otherwise boring day- and doing J turns in the union car park was ace! As was listening to Robbie Williams' 'Swing When You're Winning' all the way there and back.

Committee meeting tonight, and possibly bowling and Iron Man.

My weekend was really good- Saturday was spent in Milton Keynes at Collectormania; beautiful sunshine, great company and a new city to explore. I was good and only bought a few things- the best of which was dog tags that we had printed there and then. If I remember I'll upload photos later.
Sunday was a restful morning- and a wicked afternoon. Camilla was filming Roaming Robots down at Fenton Manor and asked if I wanted to help/come along. She described it as 'Robot Wars'. And it really really was- a majority of the robots that were there (and there were a lot of them) have been in Robot Wars before, and I recognised a lot of the names. And when she said filming...we were 6 feet away from robots attempting to take pieces out of each other. And the little 12kg robots that were being flipped about 9 feet in the air.
It took me back to watching Robot Wars religiously every Friday night as a kid. I loved it!

Going back to Birmingham on Friday night- my parents are being absolute diamonds, and are driving up to Stoke after work to pick me and Toshiko (my brand new desktop that's stopped working). Toshiko's going back to the Motorcycle Museum on Saturday to be returned to Bytetech for fixing. If all goes well I'll get her back on the 18th- the day after Summer Ball- when my parents have to drive BACK to Stoke to bring her back up to me.

So a weekend away at home to look forward to :)

Oh, and I'm going to see Mighty Boosh Live in November. In Newcastle. But only because I screwed up when buying the tickets. Hahaha.

geekiness, computers, uni, work
