OOC: Post ep fro the audio Colditz, in which Ace is imprisoned in Colditz Castle during WW2. Ironically, the Kurtz character mentioned was played by David Tennant.

Oh. My. God. Ohmygod. This was amazing and creepy and just ousbgosu. I haven't even heard this audio yet and I'm all DDD: for Ace and I'm just gonna keep keysmashing because yeah, it's just. Wow. Absolutely amazing.

Thank you so much, sweetie! I'm claiming the word 'ousbgosu' because it looks less like keysmashing and more like something they'd say on Firefly.

The TARDIS is a Firefly fan? Now I have this scene in my head of Seven and Ace trying to watch telly and no matter how many times they change the channel it's always Kaylee in the engine room, talking to her ship. Because the TARDIS, of course, would like Kaylee.

Ohmygod, this hurt so much to read. By the end, I was desperately wishing I could reach through the screen and hold Ace. This is made worse by the fact that Seven lives so comfortably in my head now, and if he knew, he'd be desperate to hold her, too. Damn. Poor, poor Ace. *weeps* This was just so brilliant and heartwrenching. You once again prove your penchant for torturing the characters you love most.

I was tempted, so very tempted, to make Seven come into the room and curl around her, hold her. But considering where this audio ends and the next one picks up I couldn't make it work in my head (arg! That ending frustrates me with Seven correcting her "Professor" and saying Doctor. They messed up that bit!)

You and I have discussed before that this is one of the few things Ace will never tell him, and how broken he would be if he found out. They're seperated for so much of this story that I don't think he has a clue what really happened. He sees Kurtz at the beginning and tells Ace to play on his paranoia, and sees him at the end, but he misses all the middle bit.
