I imagine that you would have some pretty psychopathic folks working as Aurors. I liken Aurors to undercover FBI or CIA agents. A very gray existence in morality and very flexible with how the law is enforced. As long as it gets the job done, yeah?

I'm not sure if JKR meant the whole universe to be an allegory to what is actually going on in the real world, but I do think it's very fitting and pertinent.

Loved the RP. Was tempted to jump in and take Lucius out for a very strong drink.

Heh, thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I was thinking that if I had been writing a fic, Lucius would have gone in search of Snape for a talk and a strong drink would not have gone amiss. ;-)
